2018 Ronco del Gnemiz Buri Bellaria Rosso

Ronco del Gnemiz under the ownership of Serena Palazzolo and her sons is one of Friuli Venezia-Giulia’s leading wineries. She and her fellow wine maker and husband Christian Patat have pushed it to new heights due to their commitment to uncompromising quality through natural viticulture, low yield and focusing on varietal purity.

An almost single vineyard Merlot from vines previously cultivated by Miani. The vines are almost 100 years old and produce grapes of great complexity. Aged fo 2 years in barriques and bottled unfiltered.

Lots of blue and black fruit aromas on the nose along with piquant herbs and spices. Juicy berries and herbs on the palate and a delightful silky soft mouthfeel.
