Summer Mixed Case
With summer summer upon us we wanted to put together a mixed case of some of our bestselling wines. Some ideal for barbecues and outdoor fun. Others a bit more serious that would grace any table this bank holiday season.
Easy drinking whites for all occasions...
2021 Famille J M Cazes Domaine De L'Ostal Blanc Chardonnay IGP Pay D'Oc - crisp clean and refreshing Chardonnay from the South of France.
2020 M Chapoutier, Alchemy, La Combe Pilate Viognier, IGP Collines Rhodaniennes - nice peachy dry white from a French legend.
2022 Caves D'Esclan Whispering Angel Côtes de Provence - Classic Provence Rose which has burst on the scene over the last 5 years. State of the art winery and fantastic wines.
2021 Arnaud et Stéphanie Dezat Sancerre Rosé - Most people rightly think of Sancerre for white wine but is make fantastic reds and Rosé like this from Pinot Noir. Still dry and very crisp but with a lovely mineral streak running through it.
More serious reds...
2020 Domaine Vincent Paris Cornas Granit 30 - 100% Syrah with nice red fruits and tannins, ideal for a roast lunch... just give it a few hours in a jug.
2018 Chateau de Laussac Bordeaux - Nicolas and Alexandra Robin own this Côtes de Castillon which is a cracker of a find! Should not come as a surprise when they also own Château Rol Valentin, St Émilion Grand Cru and Clos Taillefer, Pomerol. Classic right bank Bordeaux so approachable with nice soft tannins, decant this to get the best from the wine.
