Six of the Best!
These are clearly treat wines, but time and time again customers keep coming back for them they are that good. If you are cooking a nice dinner at home these would be perfect to compliment the meal. Let’s be honest we all need a little treat every now and then.
Whispering Angel, France – The current Rosé of choice for many. Pale and dry and very elegant.
Cuvaison Chardonnay Napa Valley – From the famed Los Carneros Region this is a rich, plush and pleasing Chardonnay balanced beautifully by oak and refreshing fruit tones.
Furleigh Estate Classic Cuvee Dorset – This superb English sparkling wine is made using classic French grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. An elegant wine with depth and freshness, restrained autolytic notes and a fine mousse. Perfect as an aperitif!
Izadi Rioja Reserva, Spain - A fresh and fragrant nose, boasting aromas of redcurrant, cherry and plum with notes of tobacco, toasted oak and spices. The palate is pure and rich with a long, fruit-forward finish
Château Capion Le Chemin des Garennes Rouge, France - On the nose aromas of fresh dark cherry, myrtle and spices. The palate confirms this - a vivid start, full bodied. Hints of Vanilla and Acacia continue into a long finish.A blend of 37% Syrah with 25% Grenache, 23% Cinsault and 15% Mourvèdre.
Escarpment Pinot Noir, New Zealand - A terrific wine with it's compote of red and black cherries marrying with big dollops of peppered strawberries. One of our favourite Southern hemisphere Pinots.
