2018 Quinta Dos Roques Tinto

Quinta dos Roques Tinto is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cãon from one of the leading, small estates of the Dao wine-growing region. It is a typical field blend of Dao red grapes, aged in French oak 225L barrels for 6 months and  bottled in May 2021. Brilliant ruby colour with an intense fruit bouquet of blackcurrants, and blackberries with notes of pine needles, spice, and vanilla. On the palate it is very generous with good structure and an astringency characteristic of its youth that shows it's ageing potential.
