Asúa is made from hand harvested grapes from vineyards in Haro, Rioja Alta. The wine is aged in French and American oak for 18 months and then bottles and aged for a further time in their cellars.
This is a lovely medium bodied wine with blackberries and blackcurrant and some spice. On the palate soft tannins and fresh acidity bring the wine together. Great value Rioja drinking well now!
