2016 Eagles' Nest Merlot

An award winner from Constantia. Nestled at the foot of Table Mountain the family owned vineyard produces distinctive wine of finesse partly due to the cooler climate conditions and proximity to the Southern Ocean.

Aromas of red currants and black cherries combine with light spice and tobacco leaf. On the palate red and blackberry fruit mingle with smooth tannins and hints of rosemary and fresh herbal notes.
