2017 Paul Cluver Pinot Noir Seven Flags

This is made from the best selection of Pinot Noir barrels and made in small quantities. It spends 12 months in French oak 14% of which is new. This has layers of red and dark fruits with plenty of spice and pepper. It also has some savoury notes and classic forest floor coming from a few years bottle age. Considered to be one of the most Burgundian of all of South African Pinot Noirs. It certainly delivers some sensational drinking! Accessible now but will age well for 5 years easily.
