2022 Celler Masroig, Etnic Priorat DOQ

Established in 1917, the community-based cooperative Celler Masroig winery is located in the quaint village of El Masroig within the Montsant DO region. It was created to sustain the local population of 500 people and preserve their agricultural roots. The vineyards are still in the hands of the original families and now managed by the younger generation.

The Etnic Priorat DOQ is a collaboration between a Priorat vineyard owner and the winery. This bold wine is a distinctive blend of Grenache and Syrah, showcasing the rugged and intense style that is characteristic of the region. It also captures the rustic qualities and unique flavour profile that make Priorat so well known.
