2011 Quintarelli Alzero

These are so rare and yes priced accordingly. These are essentially a Bordeaux blend given the Amarone treatment. It is made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot and like with their Amarone they are able to get a remarkable freshness from such concentrated grapes. They are drinking well now but going to age well for decades to come.
