2020 Domaine de L'Iris Moulin a Vent Terre de Gamay

Terre de Gamay comes of old vines on the hillside that make up the 9 hectares the Domaine own. The vines are on avergae 60 years old and this is most serious and structured of the wine they produce and also the most age worthy. The wine is aged in oak. Indeed this would comfortably age a decade despite its drink ability now.

Ruby red in colour with vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, wild strawberry, plum, blackcurrant, and spice. Intense flavours of red fruit on the palate. Medium bodied with a full texture and prominent tannins.
