2019 Cloudy Bay Te Koko
Cloudy Bay broke the winemaking rules to create Te Koko, a sophisticated style of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc made through wild fermentation and aging in old French oak.
The 2019 Te Koko has aromas of citrus, stone fruits and savoury notes of soft wood smoke. On the palate mellow oak and mineral characters are balanced by the vibrant acidity and freshness of citrus and pear. A long and elegant finish draws together this serious and complex wine.
