Fred Loimer's vineyards are scattered around Langenlois, in the sunny Kamptal region of Lower Austria. Fred's wines are fermented to dryness and produce wines with lovely definition, zest and balance on the palate.
His Gruner Veltliner has soft aromas of apple, pineapple with hints of white pepper. The palate is structured and precise with notes of lemon and juicy orange, dried apple and pear balanced by a refreshing acidity and some saltiness. The finish is long and robust.
