2013 Domaine Ramonet 'Bienvenues' Bâtard-Montrachet
Ramonet’s Bienvenue consists of thirty-five rows at the end of the small section of the Bâtard and Bienvenue parcels, planted in 1967. This is miniscule production of highly regarded and sort after wine. Old vines and low yields are the cornerstones of Ramonet's viticultural philosophy. This wine is extremely refined and elegant and has the capacity to age for many years to come. It exhibits a sheer purity of white peach, pear, and green apple aromas over a fine mineral structure. It offers a sharp contrast to the powerful Bâtard-Montrachet style even if the vines are adjacent and the same age.
