Fratelli Berlucchi is run by the current generation of the Berlucchi family, five brothers. This wines is made from Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes from their own vineyards and aged in their ancient frescoed cellars, parts of which date back to the 12th century. It is aged for a minimum of 40 months on lees before disgorgement.
Impressively fresh and vibrant, with green apple and citrus, backed up by richer flavours of honey, almond, toast and baked apple. It has a creamy character in the mouth and a long, ripe finish, well balanced by the acidity. This would pair well with food and has potential to age well.
