Gordon and Macphail Connoisseurs Choice from Glenrothes Distillery 2007

Gordon and Macphail's Connoisseurs Choice whiskies are rare single cask and small batch expressions that have been created by their distillers unique expertise in matching spirit to oak casks, They are always non-chill-filtered.

The Glenrothes was distilled in September 2007 and matured in a first fill sherry hogshead. Bottling took place in May 2022 with an outturn of 313 bottles Amber

Amber coloured  with aromas of vanilla pod combined with stewed raisins and cocoa powder. Citrus zest gives way to toasted almonds and autumnal spice. Smooth flavours of fruitcake and orange peel intertwine with subtle milk chocolate. Forest fruit undertones give way to charred oak.
