M.Chapoutier Wine Tasting Masterclass Thursday 23rd March 7pm - 9pm

Maison M Chapoutier is one of the oldest companies and one of the finest in the Rhône Valley and includes 34ha on the hill of Hermitage and vineyards all the way from Condrieu to Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is now run by Michel Chapoutier – the biodynamic legend of the region. Michel's willingness to change the set way, his thirst for knowledge and open-mindedness, together with his drive to seek, discover and reflect the full potential of the terroir, has put his wines firmly on the wine world map.

We could not do a Chapoutier tasting without digging deep so are really pleased to be able to show some library stock from some of Chapoutier's finest holdings. This offers a rare opportunity to taste some of Chapoutier's finest, we will taste an old Hermitage Blanc from 2013 and an astonishing 2001 Chateauneuf du Pape.

The tasting will begin with an aperitif on arrival followed by a Guillaume masterclass  with  six wines to taste, after the masterclass we will serve charcuterie and cheese sharing boards accompanied by a full glass of wine. Guillame will be around afterwards if you would like to have a chat with him.
