Newton Johnson Vineyards Winemaker Tutored Tasting, Tuesday 20th May 7pm - 9pm

Nestled in the heart of the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, Newton Johnson Vineyards is celebrated for crafting elegant, terroir-driven and expressive wines that have earned international critical acclaim. This event is a rare chance to taste through a curated selection of their finest releases — led by Bevan Newton Johnson himself, who leads the winemaking process and is MD of the company.

Bevan brings not only a deep knowledge of viticulture and winemaking but a passion for sharing the stories and philosophies behind each bottle. From their signature Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to some of their single vineyard releases, you will taste and learn about the wines that capture the nuances of the region’s climate and soil.

The evening begins with a light aperitif of their fabulously fresh 2023 Albarino. Then, enjoy a tasting flight that includes Newton Johnson's:

2023 Seadragon Pinot Noir

2023 Windansea Pinot Noir

2022 Falkirk Mourvedre

2022 Falkirk Syrah

We end the night with a sharing board of charcuterie and cheese, enjoyed with either a glass of 2023 Southend Chardonnay or 2023 Walker Bay Pinot Noir.
