2017 Van Loggerenberg 'Kameraderie' Chenin Blanc

New wave South African wine producer. This is one of the best Chenin Blancs out there, made with Chenin vines planted in 1960 in Paarl. The old vines bringing at evident richness to this wine. Alluring nose of pear, peach, mango, tangerine with notes of honey and thyme. An intense, focussed, fruity palate of crisp red apples, stone fruit and orange zest with spicy notes, smoked almonds and honey. Perfectly balanced with good acidity and an exceptionally long finish.
