2021 Alpha Zeta 'A' Amarone della Valpolicella

A really great value for money Amarone, it is a blend of Corvina , Rondinella and Corvinone from vineyards on the south facing hills outside Verona

The wine has a deep and intense nose, revealing notes of dried cherries, plums, and spiced autumn fruit compote alongside hints of chocolate. The palate is powerful yet balanced, showcasing ripe, silky tannins complemented by a concentrated, spiced cherry fruit character. A touch of wood smoke adds complexity to the lingering finish.
