Domaine Roger Sabon is one of the best known and respected producers in Chateauneuf-du Pape. The Cuvee Reserve is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault from 65 year old vines. After fermentation the wine is matured in a series of foudres and barrels for around 2 years.
On the nose you find aromas of cooked red berries, toast, sweet spices and black olive. On the palate it is full bodied and harmonious with tight tannins bringing power and strength. A wine with great ageing potential that can also be enjoyed after decanting.
