2022 Domaine du Moulin Camus Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur lie 'Clos de la Hersonnière'

Clos de la Hersonnière is from a single vineyard of 60 year old vines within Vallet. Its a surprisingly rich, vibrant Muscadet, aged on its fine lees for 18 months and a further year in bottle which gives a wonderful texture and depth. Pale-golden in colour, it offers aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and subtle wet stone. On the palate, it’s crisp, mineral-driven, and racy, with the extended lees contact giving a gentle creaminess that balances the fresh acidity.  It’s a precise, mouthwatering wine that pairs beautifully with seafood or can be enjoyed on its own.
