Antonio Villano e Figlio is situated in the Alto Piemonte in the top North West corner of Italy, heading towards the border with Switzerland. It is a mountainous, cool climate region, influenced by the fresh winds from the Alpine glaciers tempering the higher afternoon temperatures in the growing season.
Their Barbera is highly approachable, with excellent acidity and vibrant, juicy red fruit, subtle spices and soft tannins. The wine is crafted in a fresh, young style and aged in concrete prior to bottling.
