Made from 100% Nerello Mascalese, grown on vines trained in the traditional alberello style on Mount Etna’s south-eastern slopes, 550–600 metres above sea level. The volcanic soils, rich in minerals and red pumice, give this wine its distinct character.
Expect delicate aromas of wild cherry, herbs, and gentle spice. The palate is elegant and layered, with redcurrant and sour cherry balanced by savoury depth and Etna’s signature minerality. Fine tannins and bright acidity lead to a long, fresh finish.
Perfect with: roast chicken or pork, and charred vegetables.
