Chateau de Moulin-a-Vent is committed to preserving the rich history of their estate, which dates back to 1732 when it was known as Chateau des Thorins. Under the ownership of Jacques Parinet and his son Edouard, the estate has adopted sustainable viticulture practices and invested in new French oak barrels.
Their Moulin a Vent wine is a blend of the estate's five top sites and is fermented and aged using a mix of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. With a focus on low yields and whole cluster fermentation, the wine has a rounded and balanced palate, with vibrant aromas and a refreshing minerality on the lengthy finish.
Ruby red in colour, Moulin-a-Vent boasts a lively aromatic nose of cherries and blueberries. Its well-rounded palate is supported by firm yet ripe tannins and sturdy structure. The lengthy finish is marked by a refreshing mineral note.
