2022 Ronco del Gnemiz 'Sol' Chardonnay

Ronco del Gnemiz is situated in Friuli in Northern Italy close to the border with Slovenia. Owner Serena Palazzolo and her partner Cristian Patat are committed to producing wines of uncompromising quality through natural viticulture, low yield and focusing on varietal purity.

Grapes are picked when fully mature and the richness of fruit is the focus of their wines. Their whites are characterised by bright acidity and a careful use of oak.

Sol is not your typical Fruilian white and is a little Burgundian in style. With fresh orchard fruits, white pepper, a hint of butteriness and a slatey minerality.
