Benito Santos are not just focused on Albariño and Rias Baixas DO. In 1995, they leased 8 hectares slightly to the east in Monterrei, which was first planted back in Roman times.
This 100% Mencia is grown on granite slate slopes, hand picked and fermented in stainless steel. Enjoyed it while its young for its fresh fruit and vitality.
