The 2007 Vergelegen Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon from Stellenbosch shows deep ruby color with herbal and green bell-pepper aromas alongside cassis and cedar hints. It offers a lean to medium body with bright acidity, fine tannins, and flavors of blackcurrants, plums, and subtle mineral notes. The oak is gentle, and the balanced 14–14.5% alcohol enhances its refined character.
For us we feel these wines from the late 2000's have more structure and agebility than the ones from 2010's.
