Founded in 1970, Domaine Cauhapé was established by winemaker and label artist Henri Ramonteu on his family's cattle farm in Monein, Jurançon. After selling the cattle, he purchased four hectares of vines and began producing sweet wines in 1980, followed by dry wines in 1984. Today, they are recognized as one of the top producers in the region.
Their 'Chant des Vignes' Jurançon Sec, crafted with Gros Manseng and Camaralet (an indigenous grape variety)and boasts a remarkably pure taste with a beautifully refined, dry flavour of honey and ripe stone fruits.
Delicate floral notes open into a complex bouquet of exotic fruits and white peach on the nose. On the palate, the wine is fresh and perfectly balanced, showcasing delightful citrus flavours, a touch of minerality, and a complex finish.
