Reverdito is a family winery in La Morra, at the heart of Piedmont’s. The estate began in the late 1960s when Silvano Reverdito started collecting vineyards; since 2000, his children Michele and Sabina have been running the business. They farm sustainably, avoiding chemicals as much as possible, and focus on letting each vineyard site show its character. Today the estate tends parcels across some of the region’s best hillsides.
The wine is a fruit-forward Barbera with tons of juicy fruit. Black cherries and plums lead the way, backed by a touch of violet and a hint of spice from time in old barrels.
Try it with pasta ragù, roast pork, grilled meats, or aged cheeses—it’s a versatile, food-friendly wine.
