The 2023 Tentenublo Rioja Blanco is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Rioja Alavesa, where cooler conditions preserve acidity and aromatic clarity. The wine is built around Viura, supported by small proportions of other local varieties, and fermented with an emphasis on precision and balance. Aromatically it shows citrus peel, green apple and white stone fruit, with subtle herbal and floral elements. On the palate it is dry and linear, driven by bright natural acidity and a lightly textured mid-palate, with restrained oak influence contributing structure rather than flavour. A saline mineral thread carries through to a clean, focused finish, giving a white Rioja that is taut, site-driven and quietly complex, with the capacity to develop further in bottle.
