Fresh, lively and distinctly Friulian, this is a lovely example of Ribolla Gialla, a grape that has been grown on the hills of Friuli for at least 700 years and was particularly prized during the Middle Ages. Ermacora has been making wine in Ipplis since 1922, with the family now farming vineyards across the Colli Orientali del Friuli.

The grapes are gently pressed, with a portion given a short period of cold maceration to add extra flavour and texture. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel at 17–18°C, followed by six months on the lees with regular bâtonnage. Malolactic fermentation is avoided, helping to preserve the wine's natural freshness and acidity. It is then bottled after a short period of refinement.

A fresh, characterful white with plenty of energy. Aromas of lemon zest, green apple and white flowers lead into a crisp, dry palate with notes of pear, citrus and a subtle herbal edge. There’s a pleasing mineral quality and gentle texture, with bright acidity keeping everything lively and refreshing. A classic example of Ribolla Gialla from Friuli — understated, food-friendly and full of personality.
