Ardbeg Anthology The Beithir’s Tale is a bold, smoky dram that opens with deep notes of treacle, smoked herbs and a touch of creosote, lifted by hints of baked apple and dried fruit. A splash of water brings out cool eucalyptus, menthol and a little pine. The palate is smooth but powerful, mixing classic Ardbeg peat with coffee grounds, dark currants and a bright twist of lemon balm and smoky mandarin. It finishes long and warm, with soft vanilla and a gentle, buttery smokiness that lingers.
