A medium-dry style of Madeira that strikes a balance between richness and freshness. Aged for around ten years in seasoned oak using the traditional canteiro method, it develops gentle oxidative complexity while retaining a lively, mouthwatering edge. Verdelho sits drier than Bual, offering a more savoury, structured profile without losing warmth or depth.
Bright and lifted on the nose, with aromas of dried citrus peel, toasted nuts and a hint of sea spray. The palate is textured and gently off-dry, showing flavours of caramelised apple, roasted almonds and a touch of spice. A firm streak of acidity keeps everything taut and refreshing. The finish is long, clean and slightly savoury, with lingering nutty and citrus notes.
