Champagne Soutiran is a small, family-run grower based in Ambonnay, one of Champagne’s most highly regarded Grand Cru villages. The estate has been farming vines for generations, focusing on low yields and meticulous vineyard work to express the character of their terroir. Their Champagnes are bold but balanced, combining richness with freshness, and are made in small quantities with a clear emphasis on quality over scale.
This Champagne is a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier. The nose opens on ripe apple, pear and lemon zest, followed by toasted brioche and almond. On the palate it’s structured and precise, driven by chalky minerality and bright citrus, with layers of baked apple, hazelnut and a hint of honey. The mousse is fine and persistent, and the finish is long, dry and savoury, showing both power and polish.
