Grower Champagne At Its Best. Veuve Fourny Et Fils Tasting Flight Friday 13th February
Grower Champagne At Its BestVeuve Fourny Et FilsTasting FlightFriday 13th FebruaryTables from 6.30pm
We love our grower Champagnes and this tasting flight focuses on one of our favourite grower producers, Veuve Fourny et Fils, one of the Côte des Blancs’ finest Champagne houses. Based in Vertus, they farm 20 hectares of Premier Cru vineyards on limestone and pure chalk soils.
The attention to detail shown by Emmanuel and Charles-Henry Fourny is remarkable. From careful vineyard work to precise, restrained winemaking, nothing is left to chance. They are making some of the most exciting wines in Champagne today and are rightly emerging as stars of their generation.
The tasting will move through a broad range of their Champagnes — from non-vintage and vintage cuvées, through wines from individual vineyard sites, and finishing with their most prestigious bottling, the vintage Clos Notre Dame.
As tradition seems to demand at Champagne tastings, we’ll also be serving smoked salmon from our friends at the excellent Kintyre Smokehouse in Campbeltown — a classic pairing that lets the wines shine while providing just enough indulgence.
The tasting is booked per table, restaurant-style, so it’s designed to be shared. Invite friends or loved ones, take your time, and enjoy the Champagnes while you chat and catch up.
The evening is untutored, informal and relaxed, allowing you to explore the wines at your own pace. Full tasting notes will be provided at your table, offering useful background information along with space for your own notes and observations.
Andy, Amanda and Nick will be on hand throughout the evening, pouring wines and available to chat or answer any questions you may have.

Veuve Fourny Clos Notre Dame – A rare walled vineyard Champagne, intense, focused and built for the long term.
