2023 Chateau de Jacques Beaujolais Blanc

Château des Jacques, an esteemed Beaujolais estate, has been a proud part of the Louis Jadot family for over two decades. Founded in the 18th century with only a few hectares of Moulin a Vent vinified, it has since expanded to include more vineyards in Moulin a Vent, Fleurie, and Morgon under various ownerships.

This chardonnay comes from a 10-hectare plot known as Clos de Loyse. After being pressed immediately after harvest, the wine is cold settled overnight in stainless steel vats before undergoing fermentation on lees. It is then matured on lees for 7 to 8 months and bottled in the early spring. With no oak influence, to maintain its freshness.
