With a 180 metre altitude and facing north, this dry-farmed site produces exceptional grapes for Kumeu River. This particular Chardonnay is hand-harvested, whole bunch pressed, and fermented with wild yeast in aged French Oak barrels, wine with a distinctive mineral complexity that truly reflects its terroir.
