2023 Marques de Riscal Rueda Blanco Organic

Made entirely from Verdejo grapes grown in Marqués de Riscal’s own Rueda vineyards, this wine comes from vines more than 30 years old, rooted in the region’s high, gravelly terraces near the River Duero. The estate has been farming these vineyards organically since 2010.

In the glass it shows a pale straw colour with a hint of green. The nose is vibrant,  full of fennel, aniseed, and fresh herbs. On the palate it’s bright and refreshing, with a firm backbone, a touch of minerality, and a long, clean finish.
