This Chapoutier gift set, presented in a branded wooden box, brings together two elegant wines from Crozes-Hermitage
“Petite Ruche” means little beehive, a nod to vineyard plots once used for beekeeping. These wines come from Crozes-Hermitage in the Northern Rhône, where stony, well-drained soils help give brightness and character. Chapoutier’s Petite Ruche wines are made to be fresh, fruit-forward and approachable, showing the purity of the grapes without heavy oak influence.
Each box contains a bottle of 2022 Petite Ruche Rouge and 2022 Petite Ruche Blanc.
2022 Petite Ruche Rouge Made from 100% Syrah, the red shows a deep purplish colour and aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant and other fresh red fruits. On the palate it’s medium-bodied, smooth and balanced, with soft tannins and a clean, fruity finish.
Fermented in cement vats and aged in tank, it’s bottled young to keep its vibrant style. This is Syrah at its most welcoming – lively, easy to enjoy, and versatile with food. Think grilled meats, charcuterie, roast chicken or even a good cheeseboard.
2022 Petite Ruche Blanc The white is pure Marsanne, pale and crystalline in the glass. It offers notes of green apple, citrus, exotic fruit and delicate florals. The palate is fresh and supple, with hints of candied fruit but a crisp, lively edge thanks to blocked malolactic fermentation.
Made in stainless steel to preserve its bright character, this is a clean, refreshing white that pairs well with fish, seafood, poultry, lighter dishes or soft cheeses.
