2000 Warre's Vintage Port

From one of the Douros longest established and accomplished port house. Warre's vintage port comes from Warre’s two principal vineyards: Quinta da Cavadinha and Quinta do Retiro Antigo which combine to produce vintage wines of elegance, length and balance whilst still retaining the underlying rich opulence of great Vintage Port.

The wine is dark, inky and concentrated with layers of ripe dark blackberries. It is intensely rich and full bodied but the presence of a good tannic structure gives a harmonious  balance.
