Château Brane-Cantenac is a renowned Bordeaux estate that has been making exceptional red wines since the 18th century. With approximately 75 hectares of vineyards and ideal soil conditions, it continues to produce top-quality wines that showcase the unique characteristics of the Margaux appellation. As a Second Growth (Deuxième Cru) classified estate, it maintains its legacy of excellence under the Lurton family's ownership.

The 2008 vintage is a blend of 28% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 70% Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a classic and elegant wine with aromas of  forest floor as well as black currants, cedar and tobacco. It has a medium body and firm tannins, leading to a balanced structure. With evolving flavours, it showcases traces of licorice and minerals, representing its Margaux origins.
