2011 Bouchard Père & Fils Meursault Genevrières Premier Cru
New release from Bouchard's cellars and still incredibly fresh.
Taking its name from the Juniper scrub that was once common in the area Bouchard Père & Fils owns 2.65 hectares of the 16.48-hectare vineyard. The vineyard faces East/Southeast and lies on gravely soils with clay and limestone traces. Genevrières, is often the first Chardonnay to be harvested on the estate. Subtle bouquet of fruit and flowers combined with toasted hints. Full yet refined, without the slightest heaviness and with the liveliness typical of Les Genevrières. A voluptuous wine. Good ageing potential
