Massaya is a Lebanese winery with French connections run by brothers Sami and Ramzi Ghosn. In their early start up years they sought the support and backing of three distinguished French winemakers: Frédéric and Daniel Brunier from Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe and Dominique Hebrard, formerly from Château Cheval Blanc. The partnership continues to this day.
Grapes are from 50 plus year old vines from vineyards located on the hill sides of the Beqaa Valley at altitudes of up to1200 metres.
Massaya Reserve is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Mouvèdre and a small amount of Syrah. It is aged in oak barrels for 18- 24 months and bottled without without filtering or fining.
A full bodied wine with well developed flavours and hints of toast, cloves and spices.
