Understated and elegant wines from Rioja Alto. The winery was set up in 1998 as a collaboration between ex Bodegas Palacios’ Luis Valentin and Carmen Enciso (hence the name!) Their focus is on making Reserva wines using grapes from their sustainable dry farmed vineyards. The wine is aged for 17 months in French oak one third of which is less than 3 years old with new oak barrels introduced every year.
This wine is powerful and concentrated with spicy undertones, fine tannins and great complexity and purity.
