This is classic claret and the wine gets better and better. This Cru Bourgeois blend is made up of 44%.
The vineyard is composed of more than 80% Pyrenean gravel, along with clayey, chalky and clay-limestone subsoils. This “Pyrenean gravel” terroir is unique in the Médoc and provides their wine with a very distinctive character – minerality, complexity, smoky and toasty notes on the palate, and finally a remarkable aptitude for ageing.
