2017 Château Siran Margaux

Chateau Siran has quietly gone about its business. Never seemingly wanting to conform. Indeed it could have gone into the 1855 classification but the then owners, the Toulouse-Lautrecs declined the invitation to be included in this “Bonapartist classification”.  In recent years Édouard Miailhe, the current owner has invested heavily in improving the vineyards and cellar room and is now getting the recognition it deserves.  The vineyards are literally surrounded by Crus Classés estates.
