Massaya is a Lebanese winery with French connections run by brothers Sami and Ramzi Ghosn. In their early start up years they sought the support and backing of three distinguished French winemakers: Frédéric and Daniel Brunier from Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe and Dominique Hebrard, formerly from Château Cheval Blanc. The partnership continues to this day.
The vineyards for Cap Est are situated at an altitude of 1200 metres in the Ras Baalbeck area of the Beqaa Valley. An arid region where Mount Lebanon and the Anti-Lebanon mountain ranges meet.
Cap Est is a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Mouvèdre that has been aged in oak vats for 22 months and bottled at 2 years without filtering or fining.
A full bodied wine with flavours of ripe red berries leading to a palate with distinct minerality and rustic tannins.
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians
