Ceritas, Healdsburg
The West Sonoma Coast is a rugged wild landscape where rocky cliff faces intermingle with hillside vineyards overlooking the shimmering aquamarine Pacific Ocean. A true maritime climate, cooling sea breezes and morning fogs all help add that crispness to the wine it produces.
Ceritas don’t own any vineyards and source their fruit along the Sonoma Coast and westernmost Russian River Valley and are carefully chosen for their winegrowing merits and also for their singularity. They use bio-dynamically farmed grapes where ever possible.
The Senna vineyard AKA Chloe is one of the coolest on West Sonoma Coast, because of the lower elevation the fog sweeps into the site earlier and stays longer. The vineyard is also planted with the Swan clone and produces elegant Pinot with complexity and true freshness.
As is the way with a lot of Californian wines these are normally only available through Ceritas’ mailing list so we are very lucky to have them on our shelves.
