The Melissaki variety, unknown and forgotten by many, can be found in vineyards at the foothills of Mount Psiloritis on the island of Crete.
Melissaki is an indigineous Cretan grape variety and this rather lovely orange wine has golden hues, unique and intense aromas of beeswax and honey and notes of orange and citrus peel offers a thick mouthfeel with spicy and refreshing acidity and fine tannic texture in the aftertaste.
