The Adriano family is a classic example of a multi generational family business. The estate is located in the heart of the Langhe region of Piedmont in the San Rocco Seno d’Elvio township.
And don't worry this wine isn't named after a creepy crawlie but is the nickname of the families uncle Felice who owned their first Freisia vineyard !
The wine is crisp and fragrant with aromas of cherry, strawberry and hints of rose petals. On the palate there is enough fruit to balance somewhat dry tannins.
Would work well with pasta or polenta with a meaty ragu or keep it simple and drink with a plate of chunky farmhouse bread and salami
